Features
How does Lexington Law work? To get started, you must request copies of your reports of credit from Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion and deliver them to Lexington Law. When you sign up, the company can assist you in getting these. Signing up for Lexington Law’s credit repair service is simple. You can enter your information on the online signup form available at LexingtonLaw.com or download the company’s app and proceed similarly from there.
Then, you can select which unfavorable items you want to dispute using the online “Dispute Valet” feature. Throughout the entire process, Lexington Law firm representatives are available to help you determine this.
Lexington Law will send disputes to the various credit bureaus after the Dispute Valet service is complete, requesting that they provide verified and accurate information about the disputed negative items. In order to correct false information on your credit report, Lexington Law will negotiate with credit bureaus on your behalf. Credit bureaus must erase any information that doesn’t fulfill these requirements since the Fair Credit Reporting Act mandates that they only maintain valid and accurate information.
No credit repair company can guarantee that they can remove negative entries from your credit report and there is no way to compel a credit bureau to remove a negative entry from your credit report. This success depends on each specific account and the circumstances around it. Be careful about the firm that you choose and make sure that it is a reputable firm. Check with the Better Business Bureau to learn about the performance of a particular company. Do some research on the firm you will eventually do business with
Lexington Law claims that after four months, the company removes an average of 10 things per client or 24% of their total negatives. The time of your credit repair process, however, varies depending on your unique scenario. Even if current debts disappear from a credit report, they will resurface during the following reporting cycle. Before attempting to have a debt removed from your credit report, you must pay off your bill.
Credit reporting agencies have 30 days to look into disputes, provide you with the findings, and update your credit report. Clients are asked to send the report to Lexington Law as soon as possible for review and, if it cannot be resolved in their favor, to move forward with the dispute process.

They advertise discounts for multiple enrollments within the same household. I must have missed the fine print that it was only a one-time discount and they charged the full amount to my bank account today leaving me with little money until payday….for an amount that is double the amount I thought it was. It would be very helpful if the “fine print” was in bold to help make a decision for the long term.

The only time I got my free consultation was when I canceled. They didn’t fix my credit, made it worse. They charge more than anyone else for fewer services. I have a judgment as a result of my ex-husband that they never addressed. Now that judgment is astronomical.
