American Direct Financial Review: Personal Loans
First Things First!
Remember – if I post a copy of any direct mail piece you email to ed@crixeo.com, I will send you $50. I am looking for direct mail offers with suspiciously low-interest rates. Just remember – I have to post the exact image you send me and I can only pay out the $50 to the first person who sends me a copy. I want to thank all of those who have been emailing me to keep the $50 and just continue with my good work.
Is American Direct Financial a legitimate company? You probably received a mailer with a personalized reservation code offering you a pre-approved loan with a below 5% interest rate to consolidate your credit card and other high-interest debt.
And off you go looking for reviews.

Is American Direct Financial Legit or a Scam?
American Direct Financial appears to be another bait and switch for a bad loan, but let’s just leave it at a scam.
The lack of information makes it very likely to be a scam, not to mention that a low 4% interest rate is mortgage levels currently. Uncollateralized? Doubt it.
They lure you in by sending you direct mail with a “personalized reservation code” and a low 4%-5% interest rate to consolidate your high-interest credit card debt. American Direct Financial doesn’t tell you that you need excellent credit to qualify for a loan with that low-interest rate (which you have been supposedly pre-approved for).
crixeo.com awarded American Direct Financial a 1-star rating (data collected and updated as of October 30, 2020). We hope the information below will help you make an educated decision on whether to do business with American Direct Financial.
- American Direct Financial is not a lender.
- The fine print at the bottom of the American Direct Financial website states, “You received this offer because you met certain criteria for creditworthiness. Although American Direct Financial is not a lender and does not engage in the business of lending, we have working relationships and contacts with a network of independent lenders (“Lenders”) who may be able to provide you with credit.
- It appears that American Direct Financial is operating a typical bait and switch scheme. They lure you in by sending you direct mail with a “personalized reservation code” and a low 2.5%-4.5% interest rate to consolidate your high-interest credit card debt.
- It isn’t too evident that you need excellent credit to qualify for a loan with that low 2.92% interest rate (which you have been supposedly pre-approved for).

Beware of this company its a SCAM! I got a letter saying i was preapproved for 40k loan. The first person i talked to took my info and said i will be called with a loan officer. 3 loan officers later its basically a bait and switch. Instead of giving me a loan they now can only offer and dispersment plan where they pocket a percentage of what i deposit into a ” different account”. they promise a loan and instead its a bogus payment disperment plan with a fee. They promise that all my credit cards will work with them to make my interest zero. After i called a couple of my cards the cc company says they cant guarantee that at all. Same as a settlement that offers a supposedly zero percent of my interest which is never 100 percent. I decided to decline the new offer. After that i never got a call back or follow up email for a loan which was spoken about after i denied the “new” bs method. Total waste of time. Also the number they provide on the website doesnt even work. And when i asked the supposed loan officer why the number on thier website doesnt work he responds with” the it guy hasnt turned it on”. Yea right.. Lesson learned..do not respond to a preapproval letter for 40k. Go to a reputable bank or c9moany with real reviews. Matter of fact im the only review lol. They have a different system they are doing to not benefit you at all. They have no real credible reviews online. They have a network of different people calling from the 949 area code who seem like they are reading a script from wolf of wallstreet. I can smell shady a mile away. Scam!
